Dr Faran Rizvi
Faran has now been working with us on the Peninsula since 2022. As British born and trained, he travelled 10,000 miles to join us and brings with him his young family too. He completed medical school in York, before moving to his hometown of Sheffield where he had been practicing medicine as a fully qualified GP for several years.
He has a well-rounded skill set and brings with him a wealth of experience from working in the NHS. He was an educator and examiner at the University of Sheffield to support the training of young doctors in medicine. Dr Rizvi continues in his passion to educate - offering his expertise to our local community providing various educational seminars at YAWA including Heart Health, Men’s Health and Cancer.
Dr Rizvi has a particular interest in Mental health, Paediatrics, Gastroenterology and IBS, Hormone replacement therapy in menopause, Weight Loss and Chronic disease management.
He also performs Botox therapy to the face and Steroid joint injections to the knee’s and shoulders.
Outside of medicine he is an avid soccer fan supporting his beloved Arsenal and enjoys sports & exercise as medicine.
